What a thrilling game of cricket here in Raipur. India did everything right in the first inning when Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad's hundreds steered the team to 358-run massive total.

However, South Africa were determined. Aiden Markram led the chase with sensational 110 off 98 balls. Temba Bavuma (46), Matthew Breetzke (68) and Dewald Brevis (54) supported him in the middle order.

Dew helped the Proteas a lot as Indian bowlers struggled with grip and control. Arshdeep Singh gave his best with 2/54 spell. Prasidh Krishna was expensive (2/82). Kuldeep Yadav and Harshit Rana went for 78 and 70 runs respectively but could only get a wicket each.

But the easy singles and lack of game awareness on the field cost India the game. South Africa have chased down a mighty total with 4 wickets to spare and have levelled the three-game series.

Prasidh Krishna endured a chaotic over once again as South Africa surged forward. It began with Brevis launching a 130 kph length ball straight back for a huge six, followed by a high short ball down leg called wide. 

A slippery beamer next hit Brevis’ glove for two no-ball runs, triggering a ball change and a free hit, which Brevis could only squeeze for a single thanks to a perfect yorker. 

Then Breetzke stole the show, carving a stunning lofted drive over cover for four before ending with a dot.

A scrappy over from Prasidh Krishna as South Africa collect 10 runs. Breetzke worked a slower ball for two to start, followed by a sharp single plus an overthrow that gifted an extra run. Another pull fetched a single before Brevis punched one to extra cover for one more. 

Krishna sprayed a bouncer for a wide, and the over ended with a misfield from Kuldeep at cover allowing a streaky four. South Africa keep the chase moving with smart running.
