WPL 2026 Auction live: UPW-W key targets and RTMs

UP Warriorz head into the auction with a huge advantage, holding the potential to build one of the most formidable squads while also influencing other teams’ strategies.

Their RTMs will be crucial in shaping their core, with Sophie Ecclestone, Kranti Goud, Kiran Navgire, and Grace Harris expected to return.

Key targets for UP Warriorz: Meg Lanning, Kim Garth, Alana King, Georgia Wareham, Deepti Sharma, and Dani Gibson, players who can add firepower and balance to their squad for WPL 2026.

WPL 2026 Auction live: MI-W key targets and RTMs

MI go into the auction with one of the strongest retention lists, and their decision to keep Hayley Matthews over Amelia Kerr stands out.

While Kerr’s bowling remains top-tier, her recent dip in batting form likely influenced the call — though MI are still expected to bid for her again.

Matthews is set to open, possibly alongside young left-handed keeper-batter G. Kamalini, giving MI a flexible and stable top order with ample bowling options.

Key targets for MI tonight: Amelia Kerr, Chloe Tryon, Kim Garth, Saika Ishaque, Sanskriti Gupta, Renuka Singh Thakur, and Sneh Rana.

WPL 2026 Auction live: RCB-W key targets and RTMs

RCB have made smart retentions and now enter the auction with two clear priorities — adding an attacking opener and strengthening their bowling unit.

The franchise can consider using an RTM card on uncapped leg-spinner Prema Rawat, while Sophie Devine remains a strong candidate to return as a top-order partner for Smriti Mandhana, along with a pace-bowling all-rounder.

Key targets for RCB tonight: Georgia Wareham, Grace Harris, Renuka Singh Thakur, Phoebe Litchfield, Kim Garth, Sophie Ecclestone, Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, and Sophie Devine.

WPL 2026 Auction live: Indian players who can have top bids!🧢

Indian players are expected to draw strong interest at the WPL 2026 auction after their historic ODI World Cup win. Player of the Tournament Deepti Sharma, released by UP Warriorz, is likely to fetch a major bid.

Emerging stars Kranti Goud and left-arm spinner Charani, both crucial to India’s recent triumph, could secure deals similar to Deepti.

Batter Harleen Deol, previously with Gujarat Giants, and experienced all-rounder Sneh Rana are also seen as valuable options for franchises seeking proven performers ahead of the new season.
