When Bollywood Sensation Tamannaah Bhatia Went Jewellery Shopping With PAK All-Rounder

Did you know that Bollywood actress, Tamannah Bhatia was once rumored to be in a relationship with Pakistan cricketer Abdul Razzaq. In 2020, the duo attended the opening of a jewellery shop and it sparked wedding rumours betweent the two.  

The news took everyone by surprise as Abdul Razzaq was already married and had kids as well. However, the Indian actress was quick to refute all such rumours and told the actual story. 

During an interview with IB Times, Bhatia stated, “One day it’s an actor, another day it’s a cricketer, and now it’s a doctor. These rumours make it sound like I’m on a husband shopping spree. While I love the idea of being in love, I don’t appreciate baseless news when it comes to my personal life.” 

Tamannah Bhatia is currently rumoured to be in a relationship with actor Vijay Varma. 


Abdul Razzaq invites hate over 'Aishwarya Rai' remark 

Abdul Razzaq, the Pakistan cricketer, on the other hand, often grab headlines for his controversial statements.

In November last year, Razzaq made a disgraceful remark involving Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in a public event. He stated that a man shouldn’t expect a pious child if he gets married to Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai. 

"Everyone over here is talking about the intention and Pakistan’s team. Actually, we don’t have good intentions to develop and polish players in Pakistan. If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai, a good and pious kid would be born, it would never happen," Razzaq said in an event. 

Razzaq’s invited hate from people residing in both India and Pakistan. Former Pakistan cricketers also condemn Razzaq's statements and apologised on his behalf. Later, the Pakistan all-rounder also apologised for his comment while calling it as a slip of tongue. 

 "We were talking about cricket, coaching and intention. It was a slip of the tongue of the kind that happened while I was giving an example to explain the situation. I wanted to give some other example but accidentally Aishwarya's name came up. I really want to apologise for my mistake and I want to say sorry to Aishwarya. That was not my intention. I really apologise," Razzaq said in a video message posted on X. 

Pakistan Cricket Team, recently, suffered a 3-0 loss in the recently concluded Test series against Australia. This was also the first assignment as Shan Masood as Pakistan’s new Test captain and, certainly, it hasn’t been a great one.
