Young Indian wrestler Sangeeta Phogat recently took on a unique challenge as she lifted the Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on her shoulders. The wrestler lifted Chahal and began to twirl him around at a recent party of the popular Indian dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Yuzvendra Chahal has recently been seen promptly supporting his wife and choreographer Dhanashree Verma for her recent performances on the dance reality show. The Indian cricketer’s wife recently made it to the semifinals of the show and Chahal was seen rooting for her to win.

While Sangeeta Phogat has already been eliminated from the show, Dhanashree will be seen participating in the final episode of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa which aired on 2nd March, Saturday.

In what seemed to be a wrap-up party for the dance reality show, Sangeeta Phogat was seen playfully lifting Chahal on her back and landing him back to his feet in a light moment, as the people in the back cheered for the young wrestler.

On the cricket front, Yuzvendra Chahal will next be seen representing Rajasthan Royals for the upcoming 17th season of the Indian Premier League. 

Chahal was picked by the franchise in the mega auction of IPL 2022 as he was controversially dropped from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chahal though has been one of the top wicket-takers for Rajasthan Royals and got the purple cap in IPL 2022.

Chahal recently made headlines as he was dropped from the BCCI’s annual contract list and was was last seen wearing the Indian jersey on the field during the T20I series against West Indies in July 2023.

The leg spinner previously travelled with the Indian team during their tour of South Africa, but could not create a spot for himself in the playing XI. He would be itching to prove himself in upcoming edition of IPL.
