Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has decided to jump on the hype train of the all-exciting Entertainers Cricket League 2024 season. The six-team T10 competition features line-ups of numerous social media personalities from different parts of the country, thus making it a one-of-a-kind influencer-driven league.

Dhawan endorsed the league and urged his fans and followers to catch all the live excitement on the CREX app.

Shikhar Dhawan hypes up ECL 2024 excitement

On Wednesday, September 18; Shikhar Dhawan took to his Instagram account and “presented a special treat” for cricket fans in India. Talking in detail about the ongoing ECL 2024 season in Delhi, the legendary Indian opener hyped up the excitement of the competition and namedropped each captain of the six competing teams.

Shikhar Dhawan also urged his fans and followers to catch the live ECL 2024 updates on the CREX app and website.

The ECL 2024 season features six teams eyeing for the coveted title. Social media giants like Munawar Faruqui (Mumbai Disrupters), Abhishek Malhan (Bangalore Bashers), Elvish Yadav (Haryanvi Hunters), Anurag Dwivedi (Lucknow Lions), Sonu Sharma (Dynamic Delhi) and Harsh Beniwal (Punjab Veers) were appointed as captains of all the participating teams a month prior to the launch of the tournament.

Shikhar Dhawan, meanwhile, will soon be seen plying his trade in the Legends League Cricket 2024 season for the Gujarat-based franchise alongside Chris Gayle. He will also be joined by several other overseas and Indian international stars like Liam Plunkett, Mohammad Kaif, S Sreesanth, Morne Van Wyk, Lendl Simmons, Asghar Afghan and Jerome Taylor.

Back in August this year, Dhawan announced his retirement from international cricket with an emotional social media post. During his playing days, the legendary Indian opener featured in 34 Tests, 167 ODIs and 68 T20I matches and was part of a victorious Champions Trophy Indian unit from 2013.
