Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal was eager to meet Bollywood superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shah Rukh Khan after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 clash at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday night.

A regular attendee of KKR's matches in IPL 2024, SRK was spotted at the stands of Eden Gardens during the enthralling contest between his team and the Royals.

As the match progressed towards a thrilling finish, with RR ultimately emerging victorious thanks to a sensational century from Jos Buttler, SRK remained on the edge of his seat.

In a viral video, King Khan approached Jaiswal, and the two shared a beautiful moment. They also appeared to take a photo together, with the Bollywood superstar appearing cheerful despite the Knight Riders' loss from a winning position.

Regarding Jaiswal's performance, he has struggled to replicate his form from last year's IPL in this edition. The left-handed batter was the fifth-highest run-scorer last year with 625 runs from 14 games, but this time he has only managed 121 runs from six innings, with a highest score of 39.

In the game against KKR, he was dismissed by Vaibhav Arora after scoring 19 runs, including a four and a six.

With the Royals chasing a challenging 224 for victory, the pressure mainly fell on Buttler as none of the top-order batters could stay at the crease for long, and he guided his team across the line.

Despite Jaiswal's disappointment, SRK once again won hearts on Tuesday night with his graciousness after his team suffered a heartbreaking loss in a nail-biting finish against RR in an IPL 2024 match.

The KKR co-owner walked onto the field at the iconic venue and congratulated RR's hero Buttler with a warm hug after the thrilling last-ball encounter in a top-of-the-table clash in the city of joy.
