In a thrilling and high-octane encounter between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday at Eden Gardens, the Sanju Samson-led side won the match by two wickets, courtesy of Jos Buttler's head-turning hundred. 

Batting first in the nail-biting clash, Kolkata's star all-rounder Sunil Narine's explosive knock was the highlight as he smashed his first-ever hundred-plus score in his T20 career. The left-hander scored 109 runs in 56 balls including 14 fours and six maximums. 

In return, Jos Buttler, in pursuit of an implausible target of 224 runs set by KKR batters, struck an unbeaten knock of 107* in 60 balls that included nine fours and six maximums. 


Shahrukh Khan Appreciates Jos Butler For His Century Against KKR

The Knight Riders franchise co-owner Shahrukh Khan was seen in the stands of Eden Gardens supporting and appreciating the efforts of the players from both the franchises. After the match, he went to the ground and met every player, he also went to Jos Buttler and hugged him. 

The English cricketer was sitting on the ground and relaxing but soon he noticed King Khan coming towards him he was limping but still got up and met him with a warm hug. The video went viral on social media and depicts the love and mutual respect between them.

Rajasthan Royals will play its next match against Mumbai Indians on April 22, 2024, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. On the other hand, KKR will host Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 21, 2024, at the iconic Eden Gardens.
