Virat Kohli’s popularity exceeds beyond the cricketing realm. Not only is the cricketer one of the most followed athletes across all social media platforms combined, but the Indian batting legend is also held with esteem regard from fellow sporting legends.

Renowned American YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr., widely recognized as IShowSpeed (or Speed), recently interacted with Brazilian football icon Ronaldo Nazário. IShowSpeed, a huge Virat Kohli fan himself, showed Ronaldo a picture of the legendary Indian cricketer and asked him if he recognizes the person.

Ronaldo nodded in agreement and their hilarious interaction is currently going viral on social media.

Ronaldo recognizes Virat Kohli through picture

American YouTuber IShowSpeed recently interacted with football icon Ronaldo Nazário and asked the latter if he is aware of Virat Kohli. While Ronaldo initially failed to identify the Indian cricketer by name, he recognized him when IShowSpeed unveiled the picture of the modern-day batting legend.

As it turned out, the YouTuber also described Kohli as a better player than his Pakistani counterpart Babar Azam.

IShowSpeed and his admiration for Virat Kohli was quite evident when the American YouTuber visited India in October 2023 to watch the cricketer in action at the 2023 World Cup.

In the meantime, Kohli is currently in line to feature in India’s squad for a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. The short series will be followed by five Test matches against the visiting Englishmen and the much-awaited IPL 2024 season.
