Renowned American YouTuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr., widely recognized as IShowSpeed (or Speed), has made his way to India to show his support for Virat Kohli and the Men in Blue in the ongoing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.

India is set to face its arch-rivals, Pakistan, in a high-stakes encounter on October 14 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.

Speed has earned fame as one of the most prominent online streamers globally, primarily thanks to his engaging humor and unwavering passion, which have propelled him to the top of the online content platform.

In a social media sensation, Speed was spotted in Ahmedabad proudly sporting Kohli's cricket jersey as a mark of his devotion to the Indian team. The picture of Speed donning the Blue jersey quickly went viral, generating excitement and anticipation among cricket fans.

Clearly, Speed is gearing up to be part of the electrifying showdown between India and Pakistan scheduled for October 14. While Speed is renowned for his YouTube presence, he's also gaining recognition as a Kohli fan.

This isn't Speed's first foray into the world of cricket. He was previously seen supporting Team India during the World Test Championship (WTC) at the Oval in London.

What truly put Speed on the map within the cricket community was his humorous moniker for Virat Kohli, playfully referring to him as "Why-rat Kohli." He admitted that, despite not initially following cricket, he discovered Kohli while researching the world's top cricketers. Kohli's name emerged at the pinnacle of the list, piquing Speed's interest. His commentary on Kohli's batting prowess, particularly hitting sixes, added to his popularity in cricket circles.

Although Speed is widely recognized for his fandom of Cristiano Ronaldo, it's evident that he has embraced a newfound admiration for Kohli. He has even sent voice notes to Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, highlighting his belief that Kohli isthe "GOAT" (Greatest of All Time) in cricket.

With India claiming victories in their first two World Cup clashes, including match-winning performances by former captain Virat Kohli, anticipation is building for his presence in the upcoming ODI World Cup match against Pakistan. Speed's support for Kohli and Team India adds an exciting dimension to this much-anticipated cricket encounter.
