Hardik Pandya is India's most indispensable player in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The star all-rounder provides the Indian XI flexibility, which enables depth in either batting or bowling, as deemed fit by the management.

However, Pandya could find himself in trouble if a recent viral clip is to be believed. In the video, Pandya, who is shooting for an ad, could be seen stopped by police, who barge in and stop the filming.

The ad shoot could most likely be for India's homegrown audio brand BOAT, for which Pandya is a brand ambassador.

In the clip, the Gujarat Titans captain could be heard saying, "BOAT smartwatch", before the camera pans towards the cops.

The concerned clip could very well be a part of a prank or a promotional campaign, much like the recent Kapil Dev advertisement for a popular streaming platform.

Meanwhile, Pandya, along with other WC 2023 squad members, had their second training session in Chennai, where Team India will play five-time champions Australia on October 8 in their competition opener.

The 29-year-old all-rounder has been undergoing a lean patch recently with the bat, which could be a cause of concern for the management, while the bowling remains top-notch.

In 82 ODIs for India, Pandya has scored 1,758 runs with 11 fifties and scalped 79 wickets at an economy of 5.51.
