Rohit, Virat Among Other Indian Players Seen In New Training Jersey Ahead of AUS Match

As the highly anticipated 2023 World Cup draws near, Team India diligently prepares to embark on a quest for sporting glory and national pride. Amidst their preparations, captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted sporting a brand-new training jersey on October 5.

The ‘Men in Blue’ playing jersey recently underwent a major makeover under BCCI’s new merchandise sponsor, Adidas. Apparently, the Germany-based sports apparel company have also revamped team’s training kits, by making a shift from India’s iconic blue to orange-cladded jerseys.

The Indian team will grace the 2023 World Cup at home in a brand-new avatar, both on and off the field. After Adidas launched new playing jerseys for the Rohit Sharma-led side, they have now received a makeover for their training regimes as well.

The ‘Men in Blue’ players will now be seen sporting a brand-new orange colored training jersey, inscribed with sponsors DREAM11 and BCCI’s merchandising sponsors Adidas.

On October 5, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid were even seen making their way to the team bus in their new training jerseys. Images have also surfaced, wherein, Virat Kohli can also been seen wearing the new jersey.

In the meantime, the Indian team will be soon commencing their World Cup 2023 campaign with a match against Australia. The much-awaited clash between the two sides will be played out at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8.

Roughly a week later (on October 14), Rohit Sharma and co. will go up against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
