In a significant development, the governing body has announced the much-anticipated schedule for the IPL 2024. 

This year, the IPL schedule will be released in phases due to the upcoming Loksabha elections in India. 

So, the IPL governing council has revealed the schedule for the games slated to be played between March 22 and April 7.

Talking about Mumbai Indians, the five-time champions will kickstart their IPL 2024 campaign with a high-voltage clash against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. They will follow it up with a clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the latter's backyard on March 27. 

Moving forward, the Hardik Pandya-led outfit will take on their IPL rivals Rajasthan Royals before crossing swords against Delhi Capitals at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
