Mumbai Indians slumped to a huge defeat at the hands of RCB earlier this week to conclude their league stage run this WPL 2024 season on a disappointing note.

Regardless of their humiliating outcome at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, Harmanpreet Kaur and co. finished at number two on the WPL 2024 points table with five wins to their name from eight league fixtures.

The defending champions will now once again face the RCB unit, albeit this time in the all-important Eliminator clash at the same venue on March 15. Ahead of their much-awaited faceoff, here is a look at the entire probable playing XI of the Mumbai Indians team.

Priyanka Bala, who made her WPL debut earlier this week in place of an unwell Yastika Bhatia, will likely be ruled out of the playing XI for Mumbai Indians’ all-important match against RCB Women.

Bhatia, on the other hand, is likely to make a comeback into the starting XI. She will resume her role as a wicketkeeper as well as an opener alongside in-form West Indies all-round star Hayley Matthews. All-rounders Nat Sciver-Brunt, Amelia Kerr, Amanjot Kaur and captain Harmanpreet Kaur will continue to constitute the team’s middle-order.

Sajeevan Sajana, who was tasked to open the Mumbai Indians innings against RCB in their previous game in place of Yastika Bhatia, is set to be demoted down the order.

Fast bowlers Pooja Vastrakar and Shabnim Ismail will serve as team’s primary pace options while Humaira Kazi and Saika Ishaque will continue to helm the spin department.
