Former Indian cricketer and swing bowler Irfan Pathan was seen in Mumbai's Bandra with his wife, Safa Baig. However Safa refused paparazzi to take photos of her without purdah.

In February 2024, the couple marked their 8th wedding anniversary, during which Irfan Pathan unveiled his wife's face for the first time. This action drew significant criticism from certain individuals on social media.

A couple of years ago, Irfan Pathan faced trolling for blurring his wife Safa Baig's face. However, Safa Baig supported her husband, stating that it was her choice at the time.

Irfan Pathan was enjoying a family outing with his wife Safa and son at a café in Bandra. A group of paparazzi followed Pathan and attempted to take photos of his family, but Safa hurried away from them. 

Irritated Irfan Pathan then asked the paparazzi not to take photos of his wife.

Following his retirement from cricket, the multi-talented Irfan Pathan has been actively engaged in various pursuits. He has established himself as a cricket analyst and commentator with his deep understanding of the game. 

Additionally, he founded the Cricket Academy of Pathans with his brother, aiming to nurture budding cricket talents.

Notably, in 2015, he showcased yet another facet of his talents by participating in a dancing reality show.

More recently, he was seen campaigning in the Baharampur constituency, advocating for votes in support of his brother Yusuf Pathan, who is contesting as a candidate for Lok Sabha elections.
