Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh recently shared his opinion on Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) captaincy for the upcoming seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

According to him, Virat Kohli would be the perfect choice to lead the team forward. The Indian star spinner impressive track record as a player and his leadership skills make him an ideal candidate to captain the team.


Harbhajan Believes That Virat Kohli Should Be Given The Captaincy

Virat Kohli's unwavering commitment to the game and his aggressive approach to the field make him stand out among his peers. In Harbhajan's opinion, bringing back Kohli as the captain of RCB is a decision worth considering.

"If they don't qualify, they should look to get some Indian guy. Why not bring Virat Kohli back as captain. As Dhoni has a lot of impact in Chennai, Virat Kohli is a big leader, he knows the kind of cricket they need to play," Harbhajan said on Star Sports' Press Room.

He has been in remarkable form this IPL season, leading the run-scoring charts with 661 runs in 13 innings at an incredible strike rate of 155.16. His consistency and ability to score runs at a rapid pace have made him a valuable asset for RCB, who are still in contention for the playoffs. 

Currently placed fifth in the points table with 12 points, RCB will be relying heavily on Kohli to continue his impressive form and help them secure a spot in the playoffs.
