Gautam Gambhir attended the grand wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 12. The former Indian cricketer was spotted attending the festive occasion alongside his wife Natasha Jain in Mumbai.

Earlier this month, Gambhir was appointed as Team India’s new head coach following the conclusion of Rahul Dravid’s tenure.

While Gambhir donned a dapper sherwani, Natasha rocked an elegant saree as the duo made a stylish entrance into the star-studded affair.

Anant Ambani’s wedding with Radhika Merchant was attended by a number of Bollywood celebrities, industrialists, politicians and Hollywood personalities. Indian all-rounder and Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya also graced the occasion with his presence.

On the cricketing front, Gautam Gambhir is set to embark on his new role as Team India head coach. India’s upcoming white-ball tour of Sri Lanka will mark Gambhir’s first international assignment, and he will be assisted by interim captain Hardik Pandya in the absence of several ‘rested’ senior players of the team.

The T20I series between the two nations will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium between July 26 and July 29 before the action will shift to the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo for the ODIs.
