Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya continues to draw flak owing to team’s lackluster beginnings this IPL 2024 season. Under his leadership, the franchise is yet to secure a single victory in three attempts, and they are currently placed at the bottom of the IPL 2024 10-team points table.

Moreover, Hardik also seems to be perpetually bearing the wrath of Rohit Sharma fans, ever since he was appointed as the new captain of the franchise back in December 2023.

With no respite in sight for Pandya, fans recently pointed out the all-rounder’s motivational team speech to be in cognizant to that of an uplifting dialogue from a movie.

While Pandya’s motivational gathering was shared on social media by the Mumbai Indians franchise, fans were quick to point out similarities between the cricketer’s speech and a particular scene from a yet-to-be-identified movie.

Under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians slipped to a six-run defeat to Gujarat Titans in their tournament opener on March 24 at Ahmedabad. A couple of days later, the five-time winners fell short of SRH in a high-scoring bout in Hyderabad.

In both instances, Pandya was booed by the local crowd, especially from fans of Rohit Sharma.

As of now, the dashing all-rounder is slated to lead Mumbai Indians against Delhi Capitals in match number 20 of the IPL 2024 season.
