CSK legend MS Dhoni received a thunderous applause as he stepped onto the stage during team’s recent IPL 2024 event.
The legendary wicketkeeper-batter, who will likely retire after the ongoing season, recently enthralled a packed Vizag crowd by scoring a blistering 16-ball 37* against Delhi Capitals.
As Dhoni braces himself up for CSK’s subsequent IPL 2024 challenge against SRH, the cricketer alongside Sameer Rizvi and Daryl Mitchell took part in a ‘Kings Club’ event on April 3.

During CSK’s ‘Kings Club’ event in April, MS Dhoni received a boisterous applause from an over-enthusiastic crowd as he made his way to the stage to catch up with teammates Sameer Rizvi and Daryl Mitchell.
Last month, MS Dhoni conceded his CSK leadership role in favor of rising star Ruturaj Gaikwad. Relieved of his captaincy, the 42-year-old clubbed an enterprising 16-ball 37* against Delhi Capitals at Vizag, albeit in a losing cause.
The CSK franchise secured two wins by upstaging RCB and Gujarat Titans with emphatic margins upfront before their juggernaut was hampered by Delhi Capitals.
Currently placed at number three on the IPL 2024 points table, MS Dhoni and the rest of his teammates will now go up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in match number 18 of the tournament.
The much-awaited contest will be staged at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on April 5.
