Dream11 advertisements continue to be a point of great laugh and hysteria for fans ahead of the IPL 2024. In the latest promo clip issued by the leading fantasy gaming app site, Mumbai Indians (MI) ace speedster Jasprit Bumrah was seen pulling the leg of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Shreyas Iyer.

In a funny clip where the two India teammates are seen engaging with each other at the poolside, Bumrah is heard telling his KKR rival and experienced middle-order batter that he must get used to the 'Ducks' and befriend them since that would be his fate when he confronts the MI fast-bowler during the tournament.

During the pre-season promo clip, Iyer is visible chilling inside the swimming pool and just then he hears a Duck doing the quirk in his ears. The cricketer is left surprised by its presence but then he learns it is his elite India teammate and Mumbai match-winner who has sent the animal down his path.

Bumrah then amusingly tells Iyer, "ducks se dosti karle (befriend the ducks)", as that is what he is bound to get when he faces off against the Mumbai unorthodox right-arm seamer, who will be making a return to the league after missing the IPL 2023 due to his back injury.

Bumrah would've been deeply annoyed and frustrated to have missed out on the previous edition of the toughest T20 league and will be determined to leave his mark and impact in MI's fortunes at the dawn of the new era with Hardik Pandya becoming the new captain.

For Iyer, the IPL 2024 is even more important as he not only comes back to the KKR den but also strives to make a point after facing the recent contractual snub from the BCCI and being criticised for alleged lack of commitment towards domestic first-class cricket.
