In a massive positive for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), skipper Rajat Patidar has rejoined the franchise for the remaining IPL 2025 matches. Wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma has also returned to feature in the mega event.

Rajat Patidar's Intense Training Session Dismisses Injury Rumours

Earlier, several media agencies had reported that Patidar could miss the crucial encounter against KKR due to finger injury. However, as per a video released by RCB on its social media account, Patidar was seen hitting the nets with utmost dedication and perfection.

After arriving at the RCB camp, Patidar didn't waste any time to fine-tune his batting, with only two days left for the KKR clash at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Thus, considering he actively participated in the net sessions, it's expected that he will play the upcoming game on May 17.

Jitesh also smashed a few glorious shots in the nets, aiming to capitalise on the home advantage against the Knight Riders. Both players seemed extremely confident and could play significant roles for the Royal Challengers, who are eyeing a spot in the IPL 2025 playoffs.

Rajat Patidar's Form In IPL 2025

Hailed for his scintillating stroke play, Rajat Patidar has struggled to get going in the IPL 2025. Despite playing a couple of breathtaking knocks, the RCB skipper has been inconsistent with the bat, managing 239 runs at an average of 23.90.

So, he would be keen to bring up his A-game, with RCB depending on his batting masterclass in the potential absence of Jacob Bethell at the top order.

RCB's Remaining Matches In IPL 2025

Led by Rajat Patidar, RCB will take on KKR on the 17th before colliding with SRH six days later. Their final group-stage match is against LSG at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
