India cricket star Virat Kohli was spotted in Vrindavan with his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, on Tuesday, just a day after announcing his retirement from Test cricket. The announcement came on Monday when Kohli shared the news on Instagram, marking the end of his remarkable 14-year Test career. Throughout his career, he scored 9,230 runs, including 30 centuries in Test matches.
Shortly after making his retirement public, Kohli was seen leaving Mumbai Airport. His decision to step away from Test cricket came just four days after fellow cricketer Rohit Sharma also retired from the longest format.

A video showed Kohli and Anushka in a white car, surrounded by disciples, as they made their way to meet spiritual guru Premanand Ji Maharaj. This isn't the couple’s first visit to Vrindavan; they previously visited after India’s loss to Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year. Kohli also visited Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Kainchi Dham with Anushka a few years ago.
Anushka’s Heartfelt Tribute To Virat Kohli
After Kohli’s announcement, Anushka took to Instagram to express her pride in his journey. She shared how Virat’s dedication to Test cricket often went unnoticed. In her post, she spoke about the challenges and sacrifices he made, saying,
"They'll talk about the records and the milestones - but I'll remember the tears you never showed, the battles no one saw, and the unwavering love you gave this format of the game. "I know how much all this took from you."
"I know how much all this took from you. After every Test series, you came back a little wiser, a little humbler and watching you evolve through it all has been a privilege."
While Kohli has retired from Test cricket, he plans to continue playing One-Day Internationals (ODIs). He had also retired from T20s last year after India’s World Cup victory. On the other hand, Anushka has taken a break from acting to focus on family life, raising their two children, Vamika and Akaay.
