Days leading up to the Border Gavaskar Test series, Indian star Virat Kohli attended an HSBC bank event in Mumbai. Kohli, dressed in a full dark brown outfit, met with the fans and had a fun time chatting with host Gaurav Kapur.

Virat Kohli’s long rope in Test format might cease to exist by the end of Border Gavaskar 2024-25 series against Australia as BCCI is mulling tough decisions in the wake of home series loss against New Zealand. Kohli mustered 93 runs in 6 innings, leaving India in a precarious position throughout the series.

Kohli drops to new low in Test rankings

Virat Kohli’s hard-earned legacy in Test cricket is ruined by a bad patch he hit post Covid 19 pandemic. With a disastrous home series against New Zealand, Kohli has dropped out of the top 20 list of ICC Test batting rankings for the first time in the past decade. He moved to the 22nd spot while his juniors, Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal, entered the top 10 list. The sun is indeed setting and the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Series appears to be a last dance for King Kohli.
