Virat Kohli Drops Out Of Top 20 In ICC Test Batter Rankings After A Decade; Pant Jumps Into Top 10

In the latest ICC Test batter rankings, Virat Kohli has moved out of top 20 for the first time since 2014. He has moved to number 22 position, dropping eight places after his poor performance in the Test series against New Zealand. Rishabh Pant though has been rewarded for his twin fifties in the Mumbai Test and is now placed at the number six position.
Along with Rishabh Pant, Daryl Mitchell also made big gains in the rankings and has grabbed number 7 position in the list. Yashasvi Jaiswal has dropped one place to number 4, but is still the highest ranked Indian batter in Test rankings. Joe Root leads the pack by a big margin and has 903 rating points.
New Zealand's talismanic batter Kane Williamson is second in the rankings with 804 rating points while Harry Brook is just ahead of Yashasvi Jaiswal by one rating point. Steve Smith is fifth in the list and he is separated by 7 points with Rishabh Pant. The likes of Usman Khawaja, Saud Shakeel and Marnus Labuschagne are at number 8, 9 and 10th position respectively.
Ravindra Jadeja Moves To Number Six Position In Test Bowler's Rankings
In the Test bowler rankings, Ravindra Jadeja has jumped two places to take the number six position with 802 rating points. Jadeja picked 10 wickets in the Mumbai Test against New Zealand while Kagiso Rabada retains his top position after impressive performance against Bangladesh.
The second in the bowler's list is Josh Hazlewood while Jasprit Bumrah, Pat Cummins and Ravichandran Ashwin hold the number three, four and fifth position.
