Travis Head on Wednesday (January 31) got clicked with wife Jessica Davies at the Cricket Australia (CA) annual awards as the governing body rewarded terrific performers for 2023. The Australian middle-order match-winner's picture with Davies, whom he married in April last year, has gone viral on social media. 

Head couldn't have asked for a more prolific and fruitful set of 12 months than he had for Australia at the international stage. The Aussie aggressor not only produced a defining century in the win in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) in June but also repeated the feat against India at the ICC World Cup 2023 summit clash in Ahmedabad. 

The 30-year-old Travis Head won the 'Player Of the Match' trophy on either occasion, reinforcing his status as one of Australia's big-match players who raises his performance standards whenever the stakes are high and the pressure is immense. 

Head Clicked With Wife Jessica At CA Awards 

The lady luck has shined brightly on Head ever since the couple tied the knot. Overall, Travis Head made 919 runs in 12 Tests and 23 innings at an average of 41.77 and a strike-rate surpassing 75 in the year 2023. He backed it up with 570 runs in 13 ODIs at 51.81 apiece while going at a whopping 133.17. 

The cricketer also forced his way back into Australia's T20I outfit as the 2021 champions continue to build towards the 2024 edition of the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and West Indies. 

Head's match-winning capabilities as a left-hand maverick, who can bowl handy part-time off-spin as well, earned him a return to IPL with a hefty bid by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) worth INR 6.80 crores. Head previously played the marquee T20 league with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
