[Watch] Travis Head's  Counter-Attacking Century Shatters India's Hopes In World Cup Final

Travis Head has been Australia's biggest asset across formats for couple of years now and played a big role in Aussie win over India in the WTC Final at the Oval. He is breaking Indian hearts yet again in the World Cup 2023 final with a splendid century under pressure in just 95 balls to take his team close to the sixth 50-over World Cup title.

India dominated the whole World cup and were firm favourites coming into the final. However, India's batting faltered big time after Rohit departed and ended up scoring 240 in the first innings. In reply, Indian bowlers leaked runs with the new ball but got three wickets as well, bringing some smiles back in the Indian camp.

Travis Head though continued to bat with freedom as Labuschagne provided good firm support from the other end. Head smacked some lusty blows on his way to a century which were enough to put pressure back on India while defending a low score and the jam-packed crowd assembled at the Narendra Modi stadium were left completely shell-shocked.

He got to his century in the 34th over and at the time when he got to his century, Australia were just 56 short of lifting another World Cup title.
