After India sealed a 2-1 series win over South Africa in the third ODI at Visakhapatnam, Virat Kohli gave fans a moment to remember. He jokingly took a dig at fast bowler Arshdeep Singh during a post-match reel.

Arshdeep has made it a tradition to record short videos after matches, and this time, the very special guest standing next to him was Virat Kohli himself.

While talking on camera, Arshdeep Singh jokingly said that if the target had been a bit higher, he could have scored another century.

“Paaji, run kam rehgaye, century aaj pakki thi waise," Arshdeep said.

That was all Virat Kohli needed. With a smile on his face, he fired back a cheeky response, saying that India was lucky to win the toss.

“Toss jeet gaye, nahi toh teri bhi pakki thi dew mein," Kohli replied.

Otherwise, the dew would have made things so tough for the bowlers that even Arshdeep might have ended up conceding a century.

The moment went viral, as fans loved the lighthearted and friendly exchange between the two players. It showed the fun and relaxed mood in the Indian camp after a dominant series win over a strong South African side.

Notably, Virat Kohli scored 65* off 45 balls in a 271-run chase. Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a century with significant support from Rohit Sharma, who also scored 75 off 73 balls.

Interestingly, Arshdeep Singh’s century jibe also stemmed from the fact that Virat Kohli scored back-to-back hundreds in the first two ODIs against South Africa.

In the first game, he slammed a record 135, followed by another 102-run knock in the Raipur game.

Moreover, even in the Vizag ODI, Kohli looked strong and slammed yet another half-century. Naturally, he won the Player of the Series award for his contributions.

As for Arshdeep Singh, he bowled 8 overs in Vizag and picked a solo wicket while conceding just 36 runs.
