Young Indian cricketer Nitish Reddy has turned heads off the field with a stunning showcase of his physique and tattoos on social media. The all-rounder flaunted his phoenix tattoo, which depicted his love for the art.

Reddy recently sustained a knee injury during India’s Test tour to England. He was immediately ruled out of the series and sent to rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence.

Nitish Reddy Shows Off Fitness Standards Amid Injury Recovery

That being said, as Nitish Reddy is nursing his knee injury, he shared images of his new tattoos on social media. Among the tattoos that stand out is the regal phoenix tattooed across his ribcage, representing rebirth and rising from the ashes.

Another complex design adorns his back with strong wings spread over his shoulder blades, presenting him with a warrior-like figure. Not only are these tattoos an artful depiction, but they also appear to symbolise his personal journey of perseverance and persistence.

Reddy Sets Eyes On Asia Cup Return

Meanwhile, Nitish Reddy is eyeing a return for the Asia Cup 2025 after a Grade I left knee injury cut short his England tour.

The 22-year-old all-rounder, injured before the fourth Test, began rehab at home before moving to the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. As per The Telegraph, his recovery is going in the right direction, and he's optimistic about reaching full fitness within weeks.

Such injuries typically take 3-4 weeks to heal, aligning with India’s squad announcement. Having played four T20Is and featured in India’s last series against England, Nitish remains in contention. If not fit in time, he’s expected to return for the West Indies Tests in October.
