India’s narrow six-run win against England at The Oval in the fifth Test match wasn’t just a thrilling moment on the field, it became a viral sensation online, thanks to actor Suniel Shetty’s passionate celebration. Shetty erupted in the stands, and the video captured of the raw emotions has become viral. 

As India bowled out England for 367, falling just seven runs short of chasing a challenging 374, emotions ran high across the country. Mohammed Siraj was the star of the match, picking up a brilliant five-wicket haul to help India level the series 2-2.

But amid all the cricketing drama, it was Suniel Shetty, father-in-law of India batter KL Rahul, who stole the spotlight. A video of the veteran Bollywood actor cheering loudly and waving the Indian flag in the stands went viral on social media. 

His son, Ahan Shetty, captured the moment and shared it online, calling it “2 incredible days at The Oval!” The video quickly spread, with fans loving Shetty’s unfiltered display of joy. Even Athiya Shetty, KL Rahul’s wife, joined the celebration with a one-word post on Instagram, “Unreal!!!”

KL Rahul has an outstanding series as an opener, scoring 532 runs with 2 hundreds and many match-defining anchor knocks. He’s now settled in his much-desired opening spot, which is a good sign for the Indian Test team’s future.

Apart from Suniel Shetty, several other Bollywood stars, such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, also celebrated India’s Oval victory. The cricket fraternity also joined the celebration.
