Mohammed Siraj scalped nine wickets, including a five-wicket haul, in the decider against England at Kennington Oval. His exceptional outing at the iconic venue helped Siraj edge past the legendary Kapil Dev on the elite list of Indian bowlers with the most Test wickets on English soil. 

Currently, Siraj has 46 wickets in England, needing only six more to place himself at the top of the pile.

Mohammed Siraj's brilliant spell triggered England's batting collapse, reducing them to 367 all out in their second innings. Siraj's impressive bowling figures of five for 104 is the third-best by an Indian bowler in a Test match against England at Kennington Oval.

Mohammed Siraj became the first Indian bowler to register a nine-wicket haul at Kennington Oval. He surpassed BS Chandrasekar's 8/114, recording the best bowling figures in a Test match for India at the historic venue. 

Siraj Records 2nd Most Test Fifers For India In England

This was Mohammed Siraj's second five-wicket haul in Tests in England. With Jasprit Bumrah leading the chart with four fifers, Siraj claims the joint-second place with nine other bowlers - Ishant Sharma, Lala Amarnath, BS Chandrasekhar, Kapil Dev, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Vinoo Mankad, Mohammad Nissar, Chetan Sharma and Surendranath- all of whom have two Test fifers in England.
