In a moment that looked like it was pulled straight out of a Bollywood film, a photo of Bollywood actress and PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta, standing beside South African cricketer Faf du Plessis, has gone viral on social media. Preity’s flowing hair and Faf’s intensity gave fans a serious dose of filmy nostalgia.

Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals fought tooth and nail in match 66 of the IPL 2025 season. Batting first, the Kings posted 206 runs in the first inning, but Delhi chased down the score based on Sameer Rizvi’s flamboyant innings of 58 runs off 25 balls.

Meanwhile, after the game, a cinematic shot of Preity Zinta and Faf du Plessis has been going viral on social media.

After the match, a strong dust storm hit the Jaipur stadium. The players, owners, and everybody present on the ground saw huge winds blow over them.

Amid this, a cinematic shot was captured featuring PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta and DC stand-in captain Faf du Plessis. The picture showed Zinta’s hair flowing with the wind as Faf stood next to her with an intense look and folded arms.

The duo appeared as glamorous film stars, and the picture was nothing less than a movie shot. While there’s no story beyond the frame, Preity and Faf are simply professionals in the IPL universe, the photo’s dramatic mood and perfect timing turned it into an internet sensation overnight.

Zinta Lashes Out At Umpires Over Controversial Call

PBKS co-owner Preity Zinta slammed the third umpire after a controversial decision in their IPL 2025 clash against Delhi Capitals. During the 15th over, Shashank Singh appeared to hit a six, but after review, only a single was awarded as there was no “conclusive evidence” of Karun Nair touching the boundary.

Preity, furious, took to social media, calling the error “unacceptable.” She stated she spoke to Karun post-match, and he confirmed it was clearly a six. The decision proved costly as PBKS narrowly lost and slipped to second place on the table with 17 points from 13 matches.
