Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj was previously linked to a mystery girl after a picture of them went viral on social media. However, the speculations have now been put to rest as Siraj was seen celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, the same girl.
Zanai Ties Rakhi To Siraj on Raksha Bandhan
A few months ago, pictures of Zanai Bhosle alongside Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj went viral, showing the duo celebrating Zanai’s 23rd birthday together, both wearing black dresses. The images spread on social media, sparking dating rumours.
However, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, a video has been posted by Zanai on her Instagram account where she is seen tying a rakhi to Siraj as they shared a lovely moment together.
A beautiful caption has been written, as both of them have now confirmed that they are indeed celebrating this festival. In the video, Siraj can be seen wearing a white kurta pyjama, whereas Zanai is in a green traditional outfit.
“Ek hazaron mein. Couldn’t have asked for better,” Zanai wrote on her Instagram profile.
Dating Rumours Burned After Raksha Bandhan Video
After seeing the pictures, social media went into a frenzy, as many did not predict it would go this way. The viral pictures previously sparked numerous rumours, as people were speculating that Siraj was in a relationship. Zanai, however, has now confirmed and quieted all the gossip.
To the unversed, Zanai is the granddaughter of legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle and the daughter of Anand and Anuja Bhosle. She will be next seen in an upcoming film, "The Pride of Bharat - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj".
Whereas Siraj, on the other hand, had a memorable outing in the UK, where he emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the series against England after playing in all five Test matches, while grabbing 23 wickets at an average of 32.43, which included two 5-wicket hauls to his name, including his match-winning spell at the Oval, where India ended the series 2-2.
