Captain Rohit Sharma, fresh off his impressive performance in the Kanpur Test against Bangladesh, made a grand entrance back in Mumbai by taking his stunning blue Lamborghini for a spin.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma inspired his troops to stage an iconic comeback in the Kanpur Test against Bangladesh that was severely hampered by rain.

With six sessions left, India posted 285 runs in 34.4 overs on Day 4 to bowl out Bangladesh for 146 on day 5 and then chasing 95 runs in 17.2 overs.

India successfully managed to whitewash Bangladesh with the quickest victory in Test format’s history. The bilateral series will now head into the three-game T20I contest starting from October 6.

That being said, senior Indian players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma made their way back home from Kanpur following the conclusion of the second Test.

Rohit touched down in Mumbai and was spotted driving his luxurious sports car, a blue Lamborghini through the streets of Mumbai, catching the attention of fans and onlookers alike.

The car, a Lamborghini Urus, is a high-performance luxury SUV purchased by Rohit Sharma a few years back. He often drives the luxurious car himself despite the presence of a personal driver.

Meanwhile, the sight of Rohit cruising in his blue Lamborghini was quickly shared on social media, with fans expressing their admiration for both his on-field leadership and off-field style.

Rohit Sharma hints at Test retirement

Following the Bangladesh series victory, Rohit Sharma posted a black-and-white image of the India team walking out to the field on his social media. The timing and impression of the image led to retirement speculations.

Notably, Rohit Sharma earlier called time on his T20I career following India's 2024 T20 World Cup victory. At 37, it’s only natural for Rohit to reevaluate his priorities in life especially with the added responsibility of being the captain of the Indian cricket team.
