India ODI captain Rohit Sharma is all set for a comeback. Recently, he shared a video of himself batting in the nets, which created huge buzz on social media. In the clip, Rohit can be heard saying, “I am here again, it feels really good.”

Along with the video, he also posted pictures from his training session in Mumbai, where he was seen padding up and running on the ground.

Since Rohit has already retired from T20Is and Test cricket, this return for the ODI series against Australia, starting October 19, has become a big talking point among fans.

Ritika Sajdeh’s Emotional Two-Word Reply

Now, connecting to this moment, Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh gave a heartfelt two-word reaction on his post. Her emotional response quickly went viral, as fans know how closely she has stood by Rohit during his ups and downs.

Earlier, Ritika was seen cheering for him during the 2023 World Cup heartbreak against Australia, often with fingers crossed while he batted. Later, she was emotional again when India finally lifted their first ICC trophy in 11 years, the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean. She has been Rohit’s biggest support system through all of it.

What Is Next For Rohit Sharma?

Meanwhile, Rohit is expected to lead India in the three-match ODI series against Australia, his first international outing since stepping away from the longer formats. This series, featuring both Rohit and Virat Kohli, has sparked discussions about whether this could be the final stretch for India’s senior batting legends before the 2027 ODI World Cup.

However, the final call on Rohit’s and Kohli’s futures will rest with the selectors, led by Ajit Agarkar, and head coach Gautam Gambhir. Much will depend on their form and fitness in the coming months.
