Rishabh Pant is a lively character, and always stays in jovial mood, no matter the situation of the game. He is a happy-go-lucky character and that is Pant's biggest trait as a human being. Time and again, we have seen him taking funny digs at other players, and everything happens in a sporting manner.

Pant imitates Shawn Michaels' famous move

Recently, he participated in the Duleep Trophy 2024 tournament and represented India B side, led by Abhimanyu Easwaran. Throughout the match, Pant looked in a cheerful mood and was at his best with his teammate. 

A video of the match has gone viral, in which the Indian keeper-batter entertained the fans by performing WWE legend, Shawn Michaels' special kip-up, while playing Football. Michaels, a former WWE wrestler was famous for the move and made it iconic during his wrestling days.

The 26-year-old showed his athleticism, which indicates that Pant is back to his full fitness after being sidelined for almost 1.5 years due to an accident.

Pant's returns to red-ball cricket near fatal accident

Pant suffered a horrific car accident in December 2022, and since then was out of the Indian side for almost 1.5 years. He made his comeback in the IPL 2024, and was also a part of India's T20 WC winning team.

Pant was selected in the India squad for the Bangladesh Test series, and will be playing a Test match for India after almost 21 months. He last featured in whites during India's tour of Bangladesh in December 2022.

To prepare for the Test comeback, Pant participated in the Duleep Trophy and after a failure in the first match, he slammed a majestic fifty and got the much-needed preparation.
