India and Bangladesh are all set to lock horns in a two-match Test series scheduled to start on the 19th of November at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The series comes under the World Test Championship cycle and both teams would be itching to grab crucial points from the two Test matches.

Also, Bangladesh are coming into this series on the back of a scintillating performance in Pakistan where they whitewashed Shan Masood and co. to create shockwaves across the cricketing world. So, they would be confident about their chances in India and would be hoping to register their first-ever Test win against Men in Blue.

Bangladesh Players Sweating It Out At Chepauk

The players too are looking quite determined in the video released by the official X handle of Bangladesh cricket. The video reveals a practice session of Bangladesh players at the Chepauk where they are seen honing their fielding, batting, and bowling skills.

The big players like Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim are batting at the nets and all three of them would have to play a big role in the series if Bangladesh want to get the better of India in Chennai.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz And Shakib Al Hasan Key For Bangladesh

Mehidy Hasan Miraz is also seen bowling to Shakib Al Hasan and both of them will be Bangladesh's biggest asset in the Test series. The pitches in Chennai and Kanpur are expected to assist spinners so the role of Mehidy and Shakib as spin-bowling all-rounders will be crucial. Mehidy Hasan was also the stand-out performer in the Pakistan Test series, and if he can deliver similar performances against India, the Bangla Tigers would get a big boost in the series.

For India, this is another opportunity to stamp their authority and continue their dominant run at home. They also have a big Test series against New Zealand and Australia to follow after the Bangladesh one, and it would be interesting to see how India go about their business against new head coach Gautam Gambhir in Test cricket.
