India young batter Rinku Singh has become a sensation not only for his on-field performances but also for his infectious personality. Rinku often credits his success to a higher power, famously saying, “It’s God’s plan.” This popular mantra from Rinku, quickly went viral after a memorable moment during Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL).

The story began during the IPL 2024 final when Rinku played a pivotal role in leading the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to victory against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The excitement of winning the title for the third time was palpable, and the atmosphere in the stadium was electric. 

After the final whistle, KKR’s co-owner, Shah Rukh Khan, made his way onto the field. In a heartwarming display of camaraderie, Rinku and Shah Rukh hugged each other, both exclaiming, “God’s plan.”

To commemorate this special moment, Rinku decided to get the phrase “God’s Plan” tattooed on his left hand. This gesture was not just about celebrating a victory; it symbolized his deep faith and the journey he had undertaken to reach this milestone.


Rinku Singh's Stellar Performance In IPL 2023

Rinku’s rise to fame is also linked to his unforgettable performance in the previous IPL season, where he led KKR to a thrilling win against the Gujarat Titans. Needing 28 runs off the last five balls, he accomplished the seemingly impossible by hitting five consecutive sixes off GT pacer Yash Dayal. This incredible feat earned him a spot in the Indian national team in the white-ball format.

Rinku was included in the T20 World Cup 2024 squad as a travel reserve alongside Shubman Gill and Avesh Khan. India ultimately won the tournament against South Africa. After the victory, Rinku shared a celebratory post on his Instagram, posing with the trophy. The star batter captioned the post: ‘God’s plan, baby. I told you the trophy would be in our hands.’
