The Hindu Mahasabha has urgently called for a bandh in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on 6th October, coinciding with India's first T20 match against Bangladesh at the newly developed Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium. The organization vehemently opposes the game, citing the 'atrocity' against Hindus in Bangladesh as the primary reason for their protest.

Litton Das On Bangladesh Unrest

Amid ongoing turmoil in Bangladesh, marked by widespread protests and the ousting of the Awami League government, an interim administration has taken over. There were reports of violence against Hindus from angry mobs.

In response to this unrest, cricketer Litton Das had previously also voiced his confidence in the unity of Bangladeshi society. He expressed his belief that Bangladesh is fundamentally a non-communal nation and emphasised the importance of collective support during this challenging time.

"We must focus on moving forward together. The way my fellow citizens in Dinajpur, alongside others across the country, have united to protect one another is truly commendable, and I am grateful. I hope we can continue to stand together and reject all forms of violence, for this country belongs to all of us," he said.
