Pujara Ends Up Doing Ad Acting Gig With Samantha Ruth & Ranveer Singh

Former Chennai Super Kings player Cheteshwar Pujara stirred up confusion among CSK fans ahead of the El Clasico game against the Mumbai Indians. 

Cheteshwar Pujara took to Twitter unexpectedly, teasing CSK supporters with a cryptic tweet: "#SupperKings looking forward to join you guys this season!"

Many CSK fans speculated that the former CSK player's tweet hinted at him joining the team as a replacement for Devon Conway, who was injured. There were also rumors about Rahane carrying a niggle, leading some to believe that Pujara might be his replacement.

But since Since Pujara wasn't part of the auction, it was impossible for CSK to pick him as per the rules.

 Pujara was part of the CSK squad three years ago, selected for a base price in a surprising move, but he did not play any games at that time.


Pujara clears the air

The confusion was cleared when Pujara announced in an Instagram post that it was an advertisement for Zomato.

He shared a picture with his wife, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and actor Ranveer Singh, with the caption, "No one was harmed in this collab! We cool." 

Apparently Samantha and Ranveer Singh are acting along Pujara in this ad.

At the same time CSK secured an important victory against the Mumbai Indians, placing them third in the points table. This marks CSK's first away win of the season. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad, MS Dhoni, Shivam Dube, and Matheesha Pathirana emerged as the top performers for CSK in the game.
