Sunrisers Hyderabad's swashbuckling opening batters Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma sustained their dream run, providing their side with another blistering start in the ongoing IPL 2024 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. 

After RCB skipper Faf du Plessis opted to bowl first, the SRH openers hammered took the RCB bowlers to the cleaners, ensuring a flamboyant start for their side. 

They began their onslaught against RCB's premier new ball bowler Reece Topley, smashing him for two maximums and a boundary in an over. 

The incident occurred during the second over of SRH's innings after Will Jacks kept things tight in the first over. After Abhishek took a single on the first ball, Head hit a boundary before clobbering the left-arm pacer's full-length ball for a huge six. 



The over concluded on a high note for the Sunrisers, with Abhishek dispatching the ball over the deep fine leg fence for a six. 

Head looked unstoppable following the brisk start, as he completed his fifty in just 20 balls. On a similar note, Sharma is looking in great rhythm and is all set to play an impactful knock. 

As of writing, the visitors were racing towards a mammoth score, placed at 108 for no loss in eight overs, with Head and Sharma batting on 71* and 34*, respectively.
