On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have been prolific in the tournament, occupying the top spot in the standings with five victories in six games. 

Barring a three-wicket defeat against Gujarat Titans, where Rashid Khan stole the show with a breezy knock, absolutely nothing has gone right for the Royals in IPL 2024. 

Although Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson have showcased remarkable consistency, the inaugural champions would like better returns from Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who have failed to live up to the expectations. 

Yuzvendra Chahal has emerged as RR's wrecker-in-chief with the ball, while Trent Boult, Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Sen have stepped up to the occasion. 

So, considering their red-hot recent form, the Royals are expected to give KKR a run for their money in this encounter.
