Prithvi Shaw, who recently made headlines for his brilliant century in a Ranji warm-up game, was spotted relaxing with his rumoured girlfriend, Akriti Agarwal, soon after the match. 

Shaw’s innings was a statement in itself. Playing for Maharashtra, he scored an aggressive 181 runs against his former team, Mumbai. 

However, his knock was overshadowed due to the altercation that he had with Musheer Khan and the rest of the Mumbai team after his dismissal.

Not long after his on-field heroics, Prithvi Shaw was seen in a more relaxed avatar. He uploaded a picture with his rumoured girlfriend, Akriti Agarwal, a social media influencer who has been linked to him for some time.

The two have been spotted together on multiple occasions, and their public appearances and social media interactions have only fuelled talk about their relationship.

Previously, Shaw was reportedly dating model Nidhi Tapadia. She attended several of his domestic and IPL matches. However, the 25-year-old cricketer’s closeness to Akriti seems to suggest that his old romance with Nidhi is over.

That being said, over the past few years, Prithvi’s life has been a rollercoaster, from being hailed as a prodigy, making a century on his Test debut at 18, to battling form, fitness, and off-field controversies.

However, a switch to Maharashtra is another hopeful attempt made by Prithvi Shaw to revive his career.

Who is Akriti Agarwal?

Akriti Agarwal is a digital content creator and social media influencer based in India with over 3 million followers on Instagram. She studied a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) at Nirmala Memorial Foundation College in Mumbai.

Her content journey started during the Covid-19 pandemic, when she began creating dance, lip-sync, and lifestyle content. Akriti and Prithvi Shaw have been linked in rumours for some time. 

The pair were seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together, which stirred public interest in their relationship.
