Rawal had a brilliant ODI World Cup 2025 as a right-handed batter, scoring 308 runs in six innings, averaging 51.33. Unfortunately, Rawal injured her knee during India's final group stage game against Bangladesh and was ruled out of the rest of the tournament.

Shafali Verma replaced Rawal but was still part of the team and walked in her wheelchair during India's victory parade. Earlier, there was a debate about whether Rawal would receive a medal or not but eventually, the ICC mended their rules and presented a winner's medal to the India opener, who is still recovering from her knee injury.
