Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has launched his brand-new luxury restaurant 'Joharfa' in the heart of Hyderabad’s upscale Banjara Hills (Road No. 3). The announcement, made via Siraj’s official Instagram account, took fans by surprise and has already generated significant buzz among food lovers.

Mohammed Siraj's Opens New Restaurant

The premium restaurant promises to be a culinary hotspot. According to Mohammed Siraj, the venue will serve a rich array of Mughal, Persian, Arabian, and Chinese cuisines, all while adding a distinct local touch through what he describes as a 'Miya Bhai' style. It is important to mention that Siraj has launched Joharfa in partnership with his brother. 

The restaurant’s theme combines luxury with modern comfort, aiming to create an environment where food lovers can indulge in flavours from across regions while enjoying a high-end dining experience. The interiors, as seen in shared photos, showcase the luxurious fusion of traditional and contemporary aesthetics.

Following In Celebrity Footsteps

With this move, Siraj joins a growing list of Indian cricketers who are entering the food and restaurant sector. Virat Kohli has already found success with his restaurant chain One8 Commune, including a popular outlet in Hyderabad as well. 

In Kohli's restaurant, the menu has a special section that is featured under 'Virat's Favourites.' The special menu includes healthy dishes such as Mushroom Googly Dim Sum, Tartare Topped Avocado, Superfood Salad and Avocado Truffle Bites. 

Recently Yuvraj Singh, has also opened his restaurant named 'Koca'. His restaurant offers a menu that includes vegan and vegetarian options. The menu speciality is Mushroom Pasta and Avocado with Channa It also includes unique Japanese-style Kadhi Chawal and soft, savoury Mushroom Bao. 

Several other cricketers who have a restaurant in India include names like Ravindra Jadeja, Zaheer Khan, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh.
