The WBBL 2025 draft took place on June 19 as 8 teams lined up to lock their squads up for the upcoming 11th edition. Held in Melbourne, the draft saw 23 international stars picked by various franchises, reinforcing their squads with top overseas talent.

Among the selections, England led the way with 12 players drafted, followed by 5 South Africans, 2 each from New Zealand and the West Indies, and one from Sri Lanka. 

Jemimah Rodrigues emerged as the only Indian player selected, retained by Brisbane Heat ahead of season 11.
