Imari Visser, wife of former South African captain Faf du Plessis, recently visited India to support her husband’s IPL 2024 venture for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise. After spending roughly a month in the country, she returned back to South Africa as stated by her through social media.

Who is Imari Visser?

Imari Visser is a marketing manager for a South African beauty company, Nimue Skin Technology. A long-time girlfriend of South African cricketer Faf du Plessis, the two tied the knot in November 2013 at Kleine Zalze. The couple have two daughters together, named Zoey du Plessis and Amelie du Plessis.

Imari was born on May 1, 1987 in Sannieshof, South Africa and she turned 37 during the IPL 2024 season. 

She has an active social media presence, especially on Instagram where she constantly shares pictures of either herself or with her husband. Imari has over 225k followers on the file-sharing site and her handle is @imagesbyimari.

Imari Visser was even spotted on camera outside RCB’s team hotel in Bengaluru on March 30, i.e., during the opening week of the IPL 2024 season.

She was captured taking a casual stroll alongside her husband Faf du Plessis in the company of fellow RCB superstar Virat Kohli.

Faf du Plessis, meanwhile, will continue to lead the RCB franchise in IPL 2024. Under his leadership, his RCB troops are currently placed at the bottom of the IPL 2024 points table.
