In an off-field moment, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor Zaheer Khan were seen sharing a personal and touching exchange during a training session ahead of their high-stakes IPL 2025 clash.

As the two teams prepare for their final league-stage match at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium on Tuesday, a video surfaced that showcased cheerful Virat Kohli catching up with Zaheer Khan. The video, posted on LSG’s official Instagram account, shows Zaheer showing Kohli pictures of his newborn son, Fatehsinh, and the sweet interaction quickly went viral in no time. 

The heartwarming clip begins with the former India teammates greeting each other with a warm hug and big smiles.

Zaheer Khan, now a proud father, pulls out his phone and says, “Yeh dekh Mr Fatehsinh,”. Looking at the picture, Virat Kohli gently asks, “How is it going?” and then inquisitively follows up with the charming question, “Kispe gaya hai?”. 

Even before Zaheer could respond, Kohli took a guess, saying with a smile, “Mix?” and then adds affectionately, “Eyes are just like you!” The compliment clearly touched Zaheer, who grinned while the two continued their conversation.

Adding to this Kohli was also seen visiting the famous Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, on Sunday.
