In a significant development, there are reports that Lucknow Super Giants are likely to part ways with their head coach Justin Langer. According to reports from InsideSports, there is a conflict within the LSG camp and it is likely that the former Australia coach might be relieved of his duties ahead of the next season.

Notably, Lucknow Super Giants failed to reach the playoffs in the last two seasons and talking about their IPL 2025 campaign, they have crashed out of the race for the qualifiers as the Rishabh Pant-led side are placed 7th on the table with 10 points in 12 matches.

Trouble Loading For Justin Langer

Further, the report that mentioned that the dressing room is also divided into two camps and things are not well between Langer and Zaheer Khan. Notably, LSG brought in Zaheer as a mentor for the ongoing season. Now there are rumours that LSG might ask the India legend to be their head coach for the upcoming season.

“The dressing room structure isn’t good, and it’s reflecting on the field. It’s essentially Zaheer who’s running the team. Either Langer or the franchise will make the exit official in the coming months after a review of the team’s performance,” a source told CricBlogger.

Rishabh Pant Feeling The Heat For Failed Season

It is worth noting that pressure is also mounting on Rishabh Pant, who had a failed season with the bat and also failed to lead the side from the front. Thus, the management is likely to shift their eye towards that issue as well.

Talking about LSG's remaining games, they will next face Gujarat Titans on Thursday, May 22 and then host RCB on May 27.
