There is a new little Khan in town! Former India speedster Zaheer Khan and his wife, actress Sagarika Ghatge, have just stepped into the world of parenthood, welcoming a baby boy named Fatehsinh Khan.

The power couple shared the news with a heartwarming post on social media, saying, “With love, gratitude and divine blessings, we welcome our precious little baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan.”

The cricketing world, Bollywood buddies and fans alike flooded their comments with congratulatory messages, celebrating the arrival of the newest member of the Khan-Ghatge clan. From match-winning spells to now parenthood, Zaheer Khan will be playing a whole new role.

Meanwhile, even amidst all the newborn joy, Zaheer isn’t missing a beat on the professional front. He continues to serve as the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the ongoing IPL 2025 season, and let’s just say, he has got his hands full in the best way possible.

LSG recently went toe-to-toe with Chennai Super Kings, falling just short in a nail-biter. But the spirits in the camp remain sky-high. Post-match, in a behind-the-scenes clip shared by the franchise, assistant coach Lance Klusener applauded the efforts of Rishabh Pant, Aiden Markram, Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan, all of whom stepped up in a match that could’ve gone either way.

Zaheer’s Pep Talk Hits The Right Notes

After Klusener’s breakdown, it was Zaheer’s turn to lift the mood. “Games like this help build belief,” he told the squad. “We were in the game right till the end. That’s what matters: how we stand up as a team.”

He highlighted how the margins in T20 cricket are often razor-thin and matches like these where every run and every over counts can define an entire season. The message was loud and clear: stick together, stay hungry and the wins will come.

With four wins in seven games, Lucknow Super Giants currently sit at fourth on the table. Next up? A big-ticket clash against Rajasthan Royals on April 19 in Jaipur. Rishabh Pant’s men will be raring to bounce back.
