It is a great time to be a hockey fan, as the Men's hockey team won a historic bronze medal in the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024 after they beat Spain 2-1 on Thursday, August 8. 

It was an emotional day for keeper PR Sreejesh, who played his last game for India and bid adieu to the game after 18 years of service.

Several renowned figures across sports took to social media platforms to hail the Indian hockey team and also congratulate Sreejesh on his stellar career. 

Meanwhile, Jemimah Rodrigues, took to Instagram to share a throwback footage of the Indian women's team performing bhangra with Sreejesh, in what appears to be a clip from the 20222 Commonwealth games, where the hockey side and cricket team were together in England.

Rodrigues is known for her jolly nature, as she often posts reels of her dancing and singing. Even during the Asia Cup 2024, she posted a video of singing a Bollywood song with Sri Lankan fans. 

Talking about the Indian hockey team, then they also won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
