In the ongoing The Hundred match between Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave, the James Vince-led side got off to an undesired start as they have lost fours wickets for 42 runs.

Meanwhile, Sam Curran has extended his purple patch as he drew the first blood for Oval Invincibles and took the crucial wicket of keeper Alex Davies. 

Curran bowled a left-arm seamer's delight as he pitched the ball up and left Davies clueless. Eventually, Curran rattled the Brave keeper's stumps and got the crowd out of their seats.

Curran recently hogged the headlines for his performance in The Hundred after he registered a hat-trick. Playing against London Spirit, he took a five-wicket haul which included a hat-trick. 

The left-arm pacer dismissed Liam Dawson, Olly Stone and Andre Russell to complete his hattrick at the home of cricket. 

At the time of writing this article, Southern Brave are 97/6 after 87 balls. 

Talking abut how the tournament has been for both teams then Southern Brave are placed on top of the table, while Oval are right below them on the 2nd place. Both teams have won four games.
